I was lucky enough to make contact with a distant relative (BK) last week who sent me a bunch of amazing material, and among those photos and files were several photos that he had taken on the property in Kinburn.  Ok, so who built these buildings and what relation are they?  Well, they are on the property owned by John ARBUCKLE, son of Samuel ARBUCKLE and Mary MCMICHAEL.  They would have been built in the 1850-1860 range.

Here’s John on the 1879 atlas – note Arbuckle spelled ARBUCKEL – which I have found a few other places.  It’s pretty common for names to be spelled differently depending on the literacy level of the person or the census taker.
